Happy, Happy New Year to each of every one of you fantastic, beautiful people in my world from here in Austin, Texas! Hope you, your friends and your families have thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful, joyous and magical holiday season and that your 2024 is off and runnin’ to an outstanding start.
Now that we’ve closed the book on 2023, I’ve taken the time and finally wrapped up my annual look at the last year in the music industry. As you’ll see below, I’ve compiled what I think are twelve stellar selections from some uber-talented folks from various backgrounds and styles over the past 12 months.
Lo and behold, I share with you now my “12-Pack of the Top Albums of 2023.” As with every year’s list I pass along, I sincerely hope you find some nuggets of greatness amongst this dozen and discover happy, fun listening along the way.
From Sir Arthur Dog and I here in Southwest Austin to you and your loved ones around the world, wherever this may find you, we wish you a next year filled with great health and well-being, much happiness and solitude, incredible experiences and travel, endless laughter, love and true appreciation for this life we’ve been given. May each of you find peace, unity, safety, and many better days ahead!
LIVE A GREAT STORY, y’all!
Cheers and all my best from The “Unofficial Mayor of Austin!”
