For 22 seasons now, KGSR Radio Austin 93.3FM has been packing Zilker Park every other Wednesday with thousands of people, blankets, ice chests, four-legged friends, lawn chairs, families and music lovers for their annual “Blues on the Green” summer concert series. As Austin’s largest FREE concert series, KGSR’s “Blues on the Green” has become a staple of the Austin lifestyle and consistently ranks among the top annual events in the Capital City. The 22nd season of BOTG kicked off on May 30th with great performances from opening act, up-and-comer, Max Gomez, and a true favorite among locals, Austin resident and Mississippi native, Charlie Mars.
