Amidst the traffic and congestion of suburbia, just north of Austin in Round Rock, lies, not only a stunning minor league baseball venue in the Dell Diamond, but also a very exciting group of young players, the Round Rock Express, AAA affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
If you have yet to experience or are looking for something different to embark upon during these long summer days and nights, I highly recommend heading out to “The Dell” for a lil’ fun. Tickets are extremely reasonable, there’s not a bad seat in the house and you can even take a dip in the pool out in right field. Not to mention, they offer special discounts and deals throughout the week on tickets, food and drink, including the always popular “Thirsty Thursdays.”
