The world had absolutely no idea the greatness that occurred on July 22, 2008, when, in the small Central Texas town of Elgin, was born a Golden Retriever, to be named Sir Shiner Dog, who has since taken the phrase “Viva La Vida” to new heights and who’s mere existence is one to witness in awe. One pup who knows how to enjoy this great thing we call life!
Preppin’ to celebrate young Shiner Dog’s fourth birthday this week and couldn’t be more proud of my rock star of a pooch. Can’t believe these past years have flown by as they have, but plannin’ on blowin’ it out with my boy over the coming days, celebrating the awesomeness that he is.
We’ll, more than likely, swing by some of our favorite local dog-friendly watering holes here in Austin, including the stellar stop known as The Dog & Duck Pub. An excellent locale mixing canines, libations, general Austin weirdness and some of the best fish n’ chips in ATX. Officially, Shiner’s fiesta is currently in the making as we speak and we’d love to have many of his four-legged amigos and their brilliant owners join us next Sunday, so stay tuned!
