Austin’s hottest new hub of nightlife, Rainey Street, has a great new addition with the recent opening of Bungalow in yet another charming Craftsman-style house chock full of character, two well-stocked bars (one inside, one out), a huge back patio and much more.
Bungalow’s Operating Partner, Jason Steward, and his team have created quite a unique scene from the great front porch with rocking chairs out front to the elegant, hip stylings throughout the interior to the massive space for entertaining out back. Throw in an impressive set of glass windows spotlighting the spacious “backyard,” along with a back bar soon to provide food offerings and you’ve got a recipe for success in downtown Austin.
Having only been open a few weeks, Bungalow is sure to only gain in popularity and cement itself as yet another one of Rainey’s gems. Considering the managing team’s great ongoing plans for the location, over time, I can assure this space is one you’ll want to keep an eye on. If you have the chance, swing on down to Bungalow over the coming weeks, grab a drink on the brilliant back patio and tell Jason and his staff I sent you.
