Believe it or not, the 2012 Austin City Limits Music Festival is a mere two weeks away out at Zilker Park. Truly incredible to me how quickly time really does fly. That said, I will not hide my unbridled excitement for this year’s fest, always one of my absolute favorite weekends of the year here in the Capital City.
To help promote ACL this year, once again, the great folks at Dell have some extremely cool promotions up their sleeve, both leading up to ACL Weekend and throughout the fest, itself.
The first of which is a really cool Facebook app called “Roadtrip,” where players are challenged to get their friends to join them in a virtual road trip, in order to win tickets to this year’s ACL Festival or a brand new Dell Ultrabook. You can check out the app HERE.
The second exciting app Dell has launched, as of September 24th, is called “Front Row Fan,” which is essentially a game where users have to try to get to the front of the crowd, in hopes of winning ACL tickets and various prizes, including the new Dell Ultrabook.
A third competition, presented by Dell, will be held just as the 2012 ACL Music Festival gets rollin’. This one encourages users and ACL attendees to tweet their festival photos with the #DellLive hashtag for various cool prizes and fun giveaways.
Additionally, Dell will also be sponsoring the Official ACL Music Festival live stream at www.youtube.com/aclfestival, where viewers can stay up-to-date with EVERYTHING that’s happening out at Zilker throughout this year’s festival, in the event you’re not able to snag yourself tickets or make it in town here to Austin.
