Having recently moved, at long last, down to phenomenal South Austin, I gotta tell ya about one of my favorite joints on this side of town – Red’s Porch. Located just a stone’s throw from my new condo, just north of Ben White and just south of the Broken Spoke, at 3508 South Lamar, Red’s has it all – great food, an excellent, laid back scene, stellar beer and cocktail selection, superb Happy Hours, extremely dog-friendly, tremendous brunch and two killer decks – upper and lower – overlooking the Barton Creek Greenbelt with many an amazing sunset.
A can’t miss, if you ask me!
